Hey! Iâm Dr. Jennifer Moore! Your motor speech bestie!
Iâm a licensed speech-language pathologist with a multidisciplinary practice in NJ! I have spent the last 15 years of my career assessing and treating muscle and motor-based disorders in babies, children, and young adults so they can achieve optimal oral function for breathing, speaking, and oral eating.Â
During my career, Iâve worked in schools, early intervention, and universities before settling into private practice. I am certified in the PROMPT approach and orofacial myology.Â
I love teaching! Iâve been a PROMPT instructor since 2012 and currently teach courses to SLPs all over the U.S. On top of my clinical practice and lecturing, I also conduct research projects with other like-minded professionals so we, as a field, can level up our knowledge about muscle and motor-based disorders. Weâve even presented our projects at several national conventions and online conferences.
Dr. Aravind Namasivayam, PhD, S-LP (C)., Reg. CASLPO
Aravind is an internationally recognized expert in speech motor control and speech disorders in children, with a clinical degree in Speech-Language Pathology, and a specialization in Neuroscience at the Doctoral/Post-Doctoral level. He has led several governmental and industry-funded randomized clinical trials, resulting in policy changes at the governmental level and the development of evidence-based care pathways for children. Dr Namasivayam has received numerous awards for his contributions to the field, including but not limited to the National Award for Excellence in Applied Research from Speech-Language and Audiology Canada, the Distinguished Service Award from the University of Toronto.
